What we collect

When you call the number on this site or submit the contact form, we collect the information you give us: your name, phone number, and a short description of what's going on with your crawl space or basement. If you call, our call-tracking service also records standard call metadata, such as the number you called from, the number you dialed, and the date, time, and length of the call.

We do not ask for or store payment information. We don't collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or other sensitive identifiers.

Call recording and tracking

The phone number displayed on this site is a tracking number provided by a third-party call-tracking service. That service routes your call to us and may record it for quality and attribution purposes, meaning we can tell which pages and marketing efforts are producing calls. Where required by law, a notice plays at the start of the call letting you know it may be recorded. If you'd rather not be recorded, you can reach us by email or by using the contact form instead.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to understand what you need and to connect you with the one independent local contractor best suited to the job. We may also use it to improve this site, respond to your questions, and keep basic records of inquiries.

How we share your information

When you call or submit the form, we pass your name, phone number, and the details you provided to the one independent local contractor we connect you with for that job. That contractor is a separate, independently owned business responsible for how they store and use your information once they receive it.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with data brokers, and we do not run a ping-post or lead-reselling model where your details are sent to multiple companies at once. We may share information with service providers who help us run this site, such as our call-tracking and form-hosting providers, solely so they can perform that service for us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order.

Cookies and analytics

This site may use standard web analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages get read and which links get clicked. These tools typically use cookies or similar technology and collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data. How long we keep your information

Deleting your information won't affect any contractor you've already been connected with, since they hold their own copy of what you shared with them directly.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
